Just who is Adrian Rodriguez, anyway?
Apparently, Rodriguez is a stranger who burglarized the artist's home two years ago, removed her computer, and erased its hard drive before police located it and returned it to Willhide. An attempt to recover the lost data turned up nothing but corrupted files. But rather than trying to re-create the original photos, Willhide took advantage of the distorted images’ new attributes, resulting in fascinating quasi-collaborative works."
